FOR INSTALLATION BUSINESSES AND EMPLOYERS
COFNII Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership is for organisations that employ, engage or manage competent people to design, install, test and deliver fibre-optic and network-infrastructure systems.

ANNUAL FEE
From £495
The annual rate reflects organisation size and membership scope. COFNII confirms the applicable rate before the organisation joins.
A defined route for the right applicant.

✓ Employers that want to demonstrate a qualification-led workforce and accountable project controls.
✓ Organisations seeking an evidence-based public profile for approved services and operating locations.

Where a fee is quoted, COFNII confirms the scope and price before evidence review or assessment begins.

What can be published
Corporate membership makes the organisation eligible to apply for an approved-installer directory profile; it does not buy or guarantee a listing. Only services supported by current evidence will be published. Individual labour-only installers are not advertised as installation companies.
LOGO AND BADGE USE
What the mark means
A current Corporate Member may use the COFNII Corporate Member mark on its website, tenders and business materials. It must not imply that every service is approved, that COFNII guarantees the organisation’s work, or that membership replaces project-specific competence checks.
—— MEMBER BENEFITS —
What you receive for your money and commitment.
01
A public corporate profile searchable by approved services and operating locations after the relevant assessment is passed.
02
Use of the Corporate Member mark while membership remains current and the published usage rules are followed.
03
Member access to technical guidance, standards updates, templates and professional-development resources.
04
Workforce competence and qualification-development support.
05
Participation in employer consultations, working groups, networking events and industry briefings.
06
A recognised route for demonstrating qualification-led delivery to end clients and main contractors.
Recognition must remain current.
—— RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS
01 Pay the annual fee and reconfirm organisation, ownership and contact details.
02 Provide current insurance, key policies and workforce competence information.
03 Update service scopes, operating areas, complaints, sanctions and material changes promptly.
04 Complete periodic sampling or reassessment of published directory services.
05 Remove COFNII marks and claims immediately if membership or approval expires, is suspended or is withdrawn.
Renewal protects the value of every COFNII mark by checking that the evidence and conduct behind it have not expired.
Does Corporate Membership automatically create an approved-installer listing?
No. Membership and approval are separate. The organisation must provide evidence for every service it wants published and pass the applicable directory assessment.
Why does the price start at £495?
Organisation size and membership scope affect administration and support. COFNII confirms the annual fee and any separate technical-assessment cost before work begins.
Can we list services delivered entirely by subcontractors?
Only where the organisation can show how subcontractors are selected, qualified, authorised, supervised and quality-controlled. The contracting organisation remains accountable for the claims on its profile.
Can a sole trader become a Corporate Member?
Yes, provided the business is legally established and meets the same insurance, competence, conduct and evidence requirements relevant to its size and services.
—— CLEAR ANSWERS
Membership FAQ
Can we use the Approved Installer badge as soon as we join?
No. A Corporate Member may use the Corporate Member mark. An Approved Installer or service-approval mark may be used only after the corresponding assessment is passed and written permission is issued.
